Strength & Conditioning Courses

We consider this course to be the entry point to the fitness industry and to becoming a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach. The Certificate in Fitness & Conditioning (Personal Training) is equivalent to a NQF Level 5 qualification (60 credits)* and takes 9 months to complete.

Pay for 3 Modules in Full – R 29 880 ZAR upfront
Pay Monthly – R 3 689 ZAR per month

*This qualification is awarded by Setanta through their EU accreditation by Quality Qualifications Ireland (QQI). It consists of two internationally recognised awards, a university-level Certificate in Fitness & Conditioning, and a Diploma in Personal Training.

The BSc degree course is comprised of 6 additional modules bringing the undergraduate total to 18 modules. The Bachelor of Science in Strength and Conditioning has now become a global industryleading sports coaching qualification. It is equivalent to NQF Level 7 and awards students 180 ECTS credits.

It takes 18 months to complete our part-time, blended learning programme after completing the Certificate, Higher Certificate, and Diploma stages. In total, the part-time commitment to securing the BSc degree is approximately 4.5 years.

Pay for 12 Months (4 Modules) – R 33 600 upfront
Pay Monthly – R 3 689 ZAR per month
Pay for BSc in Full (18 Modules) – R 151 200 ZAR upfront

*This qualification is awarded by Setanta through their EU accreditation by Quality Qualifications Ireland (QQI). It consists of an internationally recognised university-level award, the BSc in Strength & Conditioning. This programme carries 180 ECTS credits awarded at Level 7 on the Irish framework of qualifications.
